Christmas went off well at Case de Navarinos in Vegas; it seemed like everyone not only had a great time but got really cool gifts. Sure, the gifts aren’t really what makes the season what it is but hey, they do help with the “tolerate your fellow man” court order. I think I’m good until… about 5.7 minutes ago. HEY FATBOY YOU’D BETTER LEARN TO DRIVE THAT @#$%&!ing SLEIGH! *sigh*
Friends and neighbors dropped by, they all had what seemed a wonderful time and the only thing missing was a little girl crying… wait… no, that happened! Like I said, it was ALL good. Looking forward to next year when perhaps a certain sibling will find himself here, that is if he can fit his 520gazillion” Wide screen HDTV in a shirt pocket. Hmmmm. Honey, I Shrunk the HDTV: coming to a theater near you. It’ll be good to see Frank again… no, Jim… wait… almost had it. (Kidding!) For reasons of National Security; to protect the innocent along with the guilty, I refer to my brother as my brother. He knows who he is and since we lost all the pictures in the fire we started for just that purpose, that’s how it’s gonna stay online.
The folks were there, the Neighbors K, the Neighbor A the night before, Minnie and hey even the Stealth Bulldog was there, along with Darci, Kevin and one of those little humans too. It was an arranged Christmas and the parental units received a DVD player and some cool DVDs and in about 10-11 years they’ll know how to use it too! The Darci family received a cool Jewish Protector (no, it doesn’t keep you safe from… nevermind), Minnie now can play GTA3 to her heart’s content and I got some cool gifties as well. Like: some money (never goes out of fashion), Lilo and Stitch DVD (thanks K! I finally have it!), an ultra-cool Puzzle Box from my bro/sis that contained a Barnes & Nobel gift card (*drool*) - damn was that thing a blast to get open!!!! YAY! Lessee, oh yeah I know I’m forgetting something…
…I got a Graphire3 Drawing Tablet from the owner of the Stealth Bulldog! I used to draw a lot, using pen and marker (to the dismay of actual artists) but after being introduced to computers, I tapered off. Drawing on a computer was pretty impossible unless you had about a grand or two for those early tablets and even after prices went down to reasonable levels it was still a luxury. Truth to be told I never really considered drawing using the computer after several bad attempts in the early days with a mouse and a Commodore 64. That was until a few weeks ago and especially after one was handed to me as a gift! WOO! I just installed it yesterday and did 2 quick sketches; I’m pretty amazed at the my first two attempts if I must say so myself. Take a look and see. While not Michelangelo, I do a pretty good me for my first time using one of these suckers and I can’t wait to learn more of what it can do! I’ve never been this excited with my computer since I learned there was a thing called cartoon pr0n on the net! *Ahem* Heh… WOO!
Blog Update Note: Sue also gave me 2 wonderful gifts, a My Little Pony of my very own and a cute, hot-looking Mermaid doll. I laughed tons as soon as I unwrapped them. If anyone’s confused, sorry but my love life is private. Hehe…heeeeree fishy, fishy, fishy… do you know where the fishy is? Bwahahahah!
The only thing missing was a love letter by John C. Dvorak and my adoption papers signed by Jim Louderback. I know John loves me *sniff* and I can’t wait to call Jim my new Daddy. Daddy, why don’t you and John love me anymore? Was I bad? *sniff* I won’t pee on the carpet anymore, I promise…
…so how did it go with everyone else?
(PS. I promise not to turn this blog into one of those boring “This happened to me blah-blah blah” uninteresting blogs. New Year’s Resolution #4. 1-2 & 3 were Claudia will come to me, I’ll get a plastic lawn ornament and that Back Hair Self-Grooming & Knitting kit will finally be mine. Boo-ya!)
