My RAM May Be Here on Monday: Day 2

Well, I just finished a real good book a real good friend recommended and sent (waves to Don) and boy was it great! I highly recommend Saucer by Stephen Coonts. A boy, a flying saucer and a girl. What could go wrong?

I was a joyful passenger yesterday as another great friend drove all around town. It’s good to be in the other seat for a change and hey, this way you can really aim the car door at those stupid joggers and bike riders with tons more accuracy than you can when you’re the one at the wheel.

*open* Whack! *thud* splat! SCORE!

I got some good news today (waves to sibling) and all in all it’s shaping up to be a really good week. Thanks to that great show on CBS, called CSI that teaches people how not to leave incriminating evidence behind and Hefty the wonderful makers of super-strong 4-ply 55 gallon garbage bags. Oh yeah and let’s not forget those amzing geniuses at Ginsu for making knives that slice through just about anything… and they stay sharp too!

Thanks Ginsu!

Oh yeah and my RAM should be here on Monday. Here’s hoping!

And again, thanks people at Ginsu!

My RAM May Be Here on Monday: Day 1

calanderRAMcoming.gifI received word today that my RAM should officially be shipped today and I should get it on Monday. I like the terms official, shipped and Monday. As long as everything goes right I might be a happy boy in a few days… which is a good thing because I just ran out of 55 gallon drums and I have to return the backhoe today.

My Blog Ran Out of Memory! (aka Where Is My Memory: Day 534)

Some of you may have noticed that my blog, as well as the entire Labmistress.com site was down for a few hours this morning. Upon notifying our wonderful hosts at Ezoshosting.com about the problem we heard the cause of the outage was, and I’m quoting the rep here, “It’s all because your blog ran out of memory.”

That’s right, you heard it here. The never-ending RAM unshipment saga is now affecting my blog, which pulled down the entire Labmistress.com website (our boards, Darci’s blog and our top secret hidden 10 terrabyte pirate mp3 polka music collection!)

Because I have yet to receive my RAM shipment (at least a gig of OCZ Technology’s PC3200 DDR memory) my %$#@!ing blog ran out of memory! Not only did this pull down my site, Labmistress.com, our pirate mp3 polka collection but the chain reaction also pulled down Ezoshosting’s main site!

This isn’t funny anymore, this non-RAM shipment is now affecting other poor innocent sites like Labmistress.com, Ezoshosting and what about all those poor people trying to download our endless library of 196kbs encoded polka music?! Huh? What about them, man?

FOR GOD SAKES SOMEONE FIND AND GIMME MY $#@!ING RAM ALREADY!!!

Where Is My Memory: Day 532

Where Is My Memory: Day 531

Today is a time when the clouds part, the sun shines more brightly, the birds sing and the mailman rests. Who said he could rest? Why? I mean if you work 6 days a week, stop slacking and finish the $%#@!ing job man!

*keeeerash!*

(glass shatters)

Hey, what’s this wrapped around the brick?

“Dear Sir. Please stop disparaging the proud, honest, hard working men women and assorted beasts of burden (animals, truck, boats, planes, etc.) that work so hard at the various postal delivery companies. We don’t have your package. If we did you’d have it by now. So shut the heck up, stop blaming us or we’ll…”

*keeeerash!*

(Picks up another brick. Unwraps note.)

“…be sad.”

*keeeerash!*

(Unwraps third note)

“Sorry about the second brick, we told Earl to write smaller.”

Got brick? *sigh*
