A Cornucopia of Evil

It’s fun getting used to broadband at home and with work going so well I’m really enjoying things. Home is good, due to the fact now I can afford more duct tape for the parental units and work is great because I came to the realization that I’m the nice one! I’m a veritable nice polite pussycat compared to my cohorts. Yes, that should scare you. See, the way I figure it is if you guys out there weren’t screwed before, you’re really hosed now. Being exposed to an even greater concentration of what some of you silly people might call “pure evil” is bound to make me an even more powerful presence than ever before. Don’t bother trying to run, it’s far too late for that… it’s just a matter of time before that daily cumulative exposure seeps into every pore and then I evolve to the next level of… Me.

Yes, you’re $%#@!ed. Really $%#@!ed. Oh you were $%#@!ed before but now you’re really really $%#@!ed.

Hallelujah.

(And now for something a little less foreboding.)

The funny thing about my web surfing habits is that I am still acting like a dialup user for the most part. I find myself avoiding streaming music and video sites or previously popular slow-loading via dialup sites. I don’t even for the most part KNOW where to look for those heavy graphic multimedia entertainment sites most other high-speed net users flock to. I guess it’s just that I’m not used having such a fast connection now, but I am learning. I’m revamping my bookmarks, reset my a/v software, adjusted my firewall settings and at the current time I’m downloading files, surfing and listening to streaming radio. Whoo-hoo me. See, I can learn after time, I can.

If you people have some good, entertaining site links that take advantage of broadband, please share. Dialup friendly sites always appreciated as well.

Hey, what’s that? It’s evil and I’m soaking in it. Bwa-haha-ha-hahaa! Yup, you’re really $%#@!ed, people. Totally.

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND EVERYONE!

Vinnie,

Our plan of world conquest got stolen this morning. Some flunkie of mine sold it to the CIA, so I strapped him to the giggle chair and tickled him to death. Before he breathed his last, he condemned us to perdition's flames.

As for Darci, her cuteness meter has been on the whack lately. Bri has gotten more hits on the cuteness meter than her mom, and Kevin Mitnick has done his job well, fooling the world into thinking we are just a couple of kooky people on the internet. :D

gweep: Atom films is pretty nice, loved the gaglactic rock fisher one!

Shannon: uh... not OUR secret plan, my secret plan is right where I left it. Remember: it's never smart to have asdfg as your vault code! Oh, and Kevin does not really read the internet at all, Darci pretends to be him. See she invented Kevin. Seriously. The dude is an actor... don't believe me - watch Alias sometime...

Ok Vinnie,

YOUR Secret plan to take over the world is still safe. My plan to take over the world has just changed, darn it, can't get good evil help these days. Now as for those decommisioned nuclear subs off the coast of California, you are on your own (just kidding of course, there are no nuke subs off the coast of Cali, so calm down Homeland Security person).

Darci invented Kevin? Hmm, is that the same as Al Gore inventing the Internet? And Leo Laporte Invented Adrian Lamo huh?

You and your secret plans always seem to have one HIGE flaw... you keep telling people you have a secret plan. The first rule of secret plans are no one talks about secret plans! Yeesh! Amateur x 10!

I just hooked up my 108Mbps router up and the wireless card on the other computer and after tweaking the security settings it's all working good! Eventually I'll network the two together as well but for now I'm done playing. Installed a/v, firewall and a decent browser on the other machine so the folks should be pretty safe. Boo-ya. Shala-lala-ding-dong!

The latest cable technician came and this one was a decent one. Worked on the lines a long time, found the problems and now all the different cable connections have their own unsplit ports and appropriate power settings, etc. Even got his card in case there are additional problems. YAY!

Kicks ass. Woot! Woot! Oh yeah...

Good job on the cable modme hookup Vinnie. As for my dreams of world conquest, yep I'm a rank amateur, but I can learn from the master. Now if women came with instructions, I'd be set.
