Somewhere in Denmark a person cries out as a pigeon marks his head with it’s offering of white defecation-ey goodness. Even though the event is of religious significance in some country not named Denmark (the world’s a big place, it’s possible) the passerby feels like, well, he’s been $%#@! upon, which he has been so same old same old… in Denmark.
We all seem to have survived the Net’s obscene stupidfest of April Fool’s Day lame pranks. Some not bad, but like most, simply pathetic and awful. If aliens were grading us on how creative we were as a people, we’d all be ranked so low our species would be collectively spayed and neutered just to play it safe. En masse the planet Earth was really really stupid with endless onslaughts of obviously fake pranks. Wonders never cease why people even bothered when they so clearly lacked the wit to pull even a simple bad joke off. Some people just threw their hands up in frustration and just tossed in a bad gag of their own not bothering to go online the entire day knowing how bad it was going to be… and annoying as a million witless geeks showed just how inept they were at trying to be something they never heard of - clever. And were horribly bad at it!
While there were a few good ones in retrospect, like Google Earth showing a spaceship at Area 51, they got lost as a veritable billion “intellectual prankstas” proved just why easy and affordable internet access IS A BAD THING!
As a Jedi Master once said “I feel as if a billion voices were suddenly able to be heard… and they… are stupid. So so stupid…” (And then clapped for joy as the Death Star blew ‘em all up.)
So did you enjoy your endless April Fool’s Day of Fun? Glad it over? Sorry to see it go so soon? Me, I’m just glad I skipped this holiday… just like I skip every Bastille Day. ![]()
Viva Le Eldeberries!
PS. I’ll pass on the defecation-ey goodness, thanks.
