Why Gweeptish? We all know that Apple will make OS10 for the AMD/Intel crowd and Microsoft will have a competent opponent in the OS market. That, and you will have to get a better graphics card for your Windows PC anyway with the advent of Windows Vista (which is a Mac OS 10 copycat, not a clone).

In one fell swoop Apple still becomes a hardware vendor BUT later will be an OS contender to XP on PCs. It will happen and about time there was another viable OS alternative dontchathink?

Manufacturers are already starting to support drivers for Intel Apples running XP. The reverse will eventually happen as well.

No not the chipmunks! You want flaming chipmunks from the sky? They are mean enough without the flames. As for OS 10 working on the Intel and AMD pcs, it will happen as soon as Apple decides to do it, then you will see gamers demand better games for the OS 10, and you can dump your proprietary Windows XP or Vista and watch Microsoft twist in the wind.
Apple wants to make more money, they should push for OS 10 compatibility on Wintel boxes. Oh well, I can dream can't I?
