How I Play Grand Theft Auto

How Vinny Plays GTA

This is almost exactly how I play Grand Theft Auto. Comic courtesy of VGCATS a wonderful online webcomic by Scott Ramsoomair. Videogames do not cause violence, it actually prevents it. Word.

Good one Vinnie.

I've been told that to actually hear what I'm doing over the phone in the game is far more disturbing; the comic is a tad tamer.

Vinnie,

If they don't want to hear people squealing in GTA, then they can hang up. Unless it's work, then you have to mute the tv so you can hear what the boss is saying. As for me, I'm working on a new novel (must be my 7th attempt at a novel now) about dragons, fire, etc. But it has to be child friendly, don't want to scare them little babies who read books (oops sorry about that critics, go ahead and run and cry).

Sounds cool Shannon, good luck with that. Just remember to avoid calling books with dragons and fire things like Fire Dragon, Dragonfire. Try Sexy Lizards on Fire, Baby!

LOL on the title of my new book Vinnie. I'm not giving that away until I finish it. It's a writer's thing, giving away the title would jinx the book (and someone might steal your idea if you put a synopsis in a popular blog like yours).
BTW I got the idea for the book after doing a search for the book title and not finding it on the internet.

Dude, I'm telling you Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards was a video game. Change the title :-)

No luck Vinnie you are still not going to see the title of my new book (when I finish it). I know you have confidence in me, but revealing your book title before the book's done is a superstitution that all writers go by. Ask Stephen King or that other scary book writer.
:D

Yeah, Harold Robbins is creepy.

lol Vinnie. Now Chris, you do remind me in your comments in here of the Chris Pirillo, but I doubt you are him, for the Chris works in technology and tries to keep us informed on tech.

Just for Vinny. I can not believe I sent this.. but it is the God of Musical Talent.

Timbo: you're our hero... another splendid rendition of an old classic by David "Das King of Sing" Hasselhoff! Bless you! Bless you (although not as much as Davey-wavey)!

Hey Shannon, no I'm not Chris Pirillo btw who is he? Vinny still scares me.
June 27, 2006 @ 08:00PM
Does David Hasselhoff scare you Chris?

Yourkidding right? Chris Pirillo aka Lockergnome.com is one of the online tech gurus. Educate him Vinnie.
June 28, 2006 @ 05:36AM
Shannon: Chris Pirillo is not world famous. The Hasselhoff is world famous. Everyone should stop knowing anyone that isn't Hasselhoff...

True Vinnie, The Hasselhoff is world famous for his acting, and I'm sure there is a few movies released worldwide that we haven't seen in the States. Now as for Chris Pirillo aka Lockergnome.com, he's just a tech dude on the internet, nowhere near as brilliant as Leo Laporte. But that's my opinion.

DLTV the best geekiness on the Net. 2 Shows a week. Video and Audio downloads. The old is new again!

True Vinnie. Two shows a week from dl.tv is about all you need (that and Cranky Geeks with John C. Dvorak). I hate to say it, but it seems that Jim Louderback will be able to pull off the new ZDTV over IPTV. Now to see when the new ZDTV will launch on Cable or Satellite again. Being on a satellite modem, those DL.TV and Cranky Geeks gobble up my bandwidth because of the Fair Access Policy that Satellite Internet uses. More to come on the book, got two chapters done on it so far. And the title of the book is not Dragon Fire or Dragon Fife. It's much better than that, trust me. Oh, and Al Lowe or VUGames.com won't have to worry about the working book title right now either. :D

There are two ways to properly do tech programming right now - on the web attached to successful ventures like ZDNET (ala DL.TV) or to produce tech programming for other channels, papers etc. Jim's a smart cookie and so are Patrick and Robert.
