Of all the things worse in the world, it would have been worse to have never known such a great man. I was one of the lucky ones. This picture of The TechTV Best of CES Judges pic has been on my wall since we all got together to judge the 2002 Consumer Electronics show for TechTV. It is and will always be one of my fondest memories. Bless you, James Kim. Bless you. Now and forever.

Hey, Vinnie: Long time. Yes, James was a rare one. I honestly hadn't followed what he was doing at CNET or even thought about him for awhile; but hearing about him again reminded me what a calm, intelligent and simply pleasant presence his was.

Just prior to hearing that they were missing I was looking through the pics I took that wonderful CES when we were all a'workin hard covering it.
The smile on James' face in any pic he was in at CES showed just how much he was loving it being in the middle of all that geeky tech. Heck, I know the smile on my face needed to be belt-sanded off...
