Into the Blogosphere: Day 20
Recently my beloved CRT started to give me trouble so I replaced it with an LCD monitor. CRTs are way better for gaming, which I do a lot and even though the LCD isn’t ultra-fast on the response time I like it since MOST of the time I’m looking at text. Maybe later I’ll get a super big (yet still $200) 2ms 19-20+” LCD but right now I’m good.
What monitor is on your desk? A CRT or LCD. Do you have a preference? Why?

19" CRT here. Prefer it for gaming but LCDs are getting better so I'll probably buy one when the crt bites it

I have a 19 inch X2Gen LCD monitor. It is a pretty thing. Now I can play games and read the internet. Oh, yeah. I prefer LCDs over CRTs anytime.

With the CRT replacement, we have 3 LCDs and no CRTs in the house. Or according to Jackie 3 thinnys and no tubeys
