Yep Vinnie. I have a 2.1 Logitech computer speaker system, an HDTV antenna hanging on the back of my trailer, The first season of the Jeff Foxworthy tv show on dvd, and four Jeff Foxworthy cds. those were from my dad. My sis gave me a 20 dollar Wal-Mart gift card. Now as for one other thing, we'll have to wait until after Christmas and New years to see if they can be replaced with a working one (my 200 disk cd player comes to mind). Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Vinnie. Be careful of the glare of the Vegas lights.
I got some dough, a best buy gift card (same as dough as I go there all the time), a lovely framed picture of me and my adopted sisters, an Office Depot desk calendar I stick on my wall, free movie tickets (YAY!) and some candy so far. More gifties are on the way including my sister's FAMOUS Xmas cookies - 17 different kinds this year *drool* and assorted stuff a'coming. Between Xmas and my birthday, I collect the green stuff and go get something cool I want; it's something I look forward to every year.
My family in Vegas and SC had a great Xmas this year which was VERY cool. We needed it and it came thru fabulously. THANKS, MA!
I've an interesting tale to tell. The JVC 200-disk cd changer was acting up on Christmas eve, so after I tryed to fix it that night and Christmas day, I rested and let it cry. Today I sprang out of my bed, threatening to replace it with a phone call. It just mocked me and stared. So after a while, I opened up it's case to check if it was sick, and what do you know, it was. Some dumb schmoe, slapped the case on the cd changer pretty hard, so I took it off, checked it for loose connections (there was none) tested to see if it worked without the case (it did) and then gingerly put the case back on, and wonder of wonders, it worked like new (Of course it's factory refurbished, you think my dad would pay for a new one). Now I am a happy camper. So dance dance!
I got some pretty cool stuff, especially my big white I-Podish kinda thingie that plays lottttttttttttts o music......What'd ya say Vin? Oh yeah, it's called a "Zen Touch". (Is that like 'bad touch', but spiritual as opposed to physical?) Anyway, I have MOM and big brother Tiara Boy, er, I mean Vinnie, to thank for that!
(He gets me a cool geeky gizmo I don't know how to operate, and I get him a freakin' calendar.....How's that for love!!!) Seriously though, the best part of Christmas was being able to spend it with adopted family and friends who mean so much to me. And Vin, you're so right.........THANKS MA!
Shannon: My dad and I were at Walmart the day after Xmas and we saw the TONS of Valentine's Day candy on the shelves. We couldn't believe it, so there goeth the counter, dude. Ridiculous!
moms do rock, specially when they give you siblings like special K and vinny..................well to be honest, dad has to share the blame for vinny..........but special k is all moms credit
