As you can all tell, thanks to your eyes not bleeding, the old look has been restored to the site. Ole Nifty Corners has been dragged out back and php/css-coded into a much needed oblivion. You wouldn’t freaking believe the hammer blows needed to restore the old look, but in the end it sure was worth it.

*sigh*

Ya see, the folks over at b2 promised me that future upgrades will not break the blog skins anymore. So I believe them. But I do have this nice spiked, well-used cudgel just in case.

Some of you might be wondering why the blog all of a sudden looks new. Without it’s familiar Navarino Unincorporated, heavily customized look. Why it’s now using a plain-jane off-the-shelf Nifty Corners skin.

Long story short, it was time to update to the latest version of b2evolution and I just didn’t have time yet to weed-whack and slash my way through customizing the site to the Navarino Unincorporated look we all know and love. And by we all I mean me, of course. Who cares what you people think.

So until then, enjoy the canned, boring and unoriginal skin-y goodness. As soon as I get enough time, I’m going to gleefully drag Ole Nifty out back and hack it slowly and unmercifully out of my misery…
