The american people have voted Obama in as Prez. I refuse to participate in this new adminstration, those who voted for this person can have the country. I'm expecting the gestapo to round up all of the Obama opponents in the USSA and kill us. The only person he listens to is himself.

I don't mind any candidate being elected for President of the United States of America. It is my only wish that the upcoming President of the United States fulfills his promises to the people and works for all of our betterment. If he does that, we're good. If not, it's business as usual for Washington. We don't live in a world where people are tattooed and killed for holding a differing view anymore. If that's ever a concern for anyone, I always point to our borders and encourage them to step across it.

I respect people like Terry Gilliam of Monty Python fame who renounced his US citizenship to uphold his beliefs. I also respect people who uphold their beliefs by trying to change whatever is happening that they disagree with. Both of these examples show courage.

Unfortunately, I did not get to vote in this year's election because Las Vegas officials really dropped the ball big-time.

I registered to vote in the January Caucus, and voted for my candidate in the caucus only to find out later that the people from the caucus didn't turn in a lot of the voter registration forms and local officials kept the whole thing quiet to look better.

I found this out just before I went to vote that there was no record of my registration. All the voting officials in the county knew of the problem when I talked to them but had no reason or rationale why they didn't announce there were problems from the January caucus and advising people to check their voter registration status before it was too late.

They knew there was a problem and rather than take the moral and ethical route and uphold their responsibilities to protect our sacred right to vote; they instead chose to save their image by disenfranchising some of us and stomping on our rights for our voices to be heard and counted.

But that's ok, because if it wasn't alright it wouldn't have happened - right Clark County officials? Right? Hmmm....
