Are You A Real Computer God?

Have You Ever Used Any of these Computers?
If you’ve used any of these then you are a true Computer God!

Can you identify all of these computers, left to right starting from the top? If you’ve used any of these computers when you first started out then you are a true computer ubergeek. If you came later, then you really missed the dawn of the computer revolution but hey, you’re still OK in my book. Just not as fortunate or as cool. B)

So, did you use any of these and can you name them all from memory? Winner gets a nod and some leftover bellybutton lint! Don’t cheat.

Altair, TRS-80, Timex Sinclair, Commodore 64, Apple IIe and the last one is either a Tandy 1000 or IBM PS/2. I owned and cut my pc teeth on a TRS-80. The programming was in basic, but hey, that was a big thing back in 1980-1983. After the IBM PC clones came in 1985, I just waited for the darn things to get cheap, so I could play with one (Mine was a Laser PC with CGA Graphics and a built-in 5 1/4 inch floppy drive. The 3 1/2 inch drive for this computer didn't come along until 1989). Oh and to those of you that remember very far back, my second computer in the 1980s was a TI 99/4a with a cassette drive and a cartridge slot for games and other software.

Altair 8800, Timex Sinclair 1000, C= 64, Apple II, Amiga 1000. Nice quiz! I used Apple computers in school which was a program Apple was the most brilliant at; to provide discounts to artists, educators and students and I have no doubt that plan saved the company many many times.

Do I win?

Vinnie don't tell me that you had all of those computers? If so, mom and dad must've been rich once upon a time. I didn't think the last one was an Amiga 1000. Heck I was lucky to remember the Timex Sinclair. Didn't know it was a 1000. I hated the first Timex Sinclair, was the size of a netbook back then, and no real keyboard, just a touchpad.
