macs own but i don't understand this :s mac's aren't just pretty, they're all around better than windows, the only problem is that most software is created with windows in mind. although there's parallels and boot camp to get around this. mac love <3

I own Macs as well and love them, most especially after the switch to the same architecture and chips as PCs. Our history prior was slower processors and quickly outdated and incompatible hardware every next step or so causing forced upgrades.

PCs are much more adaptable and configurable, you won't get any argument from me and I loved the constant theme here on this site about extremists or "fanboys" of any particular group.

Macs are not just pretty shells anymore. We have horsepower too but still not a lot of adaptability and I really wish we did.

I love my Macs but yes it is a Windows world but we get by just fine with less infinite resources. But I envy those resources a little and wish the chains are lifted soon.

Hello Luke, welcome to the blog. I like to poke a wrecking ball at many different subjects. The Mac vs PC thing I find incredibly funny. I know a lot of people with PCs and Macs (although less statistically with Macs) and I gotta tell you it's quite fun to poke a stick in that arena every once in a while to see fanboys of either go nuts. Fanboys = people outside of reality of course.

On the PC side no one's aware of a war and on the other side you have the viva la revolution types with about 5% market share claiming victory, it's insanely fun.

I've been waiting for years for Apple to switch to PC processors (Intel) to get the performance up and the capability to use a machine that can run both OSX and Windows. It's a good day on both sides to see that finally happen. I have a laptop that is Hackintosh compatible and the only thing stopping me from doing it is I cluttered up my laptop's spare hard drive.

Meanwhile, since I got some mad Photoshop "skillz", the mockery of the mocking continues!
