Do Superheroes Want to Buy an iPad?

What Green Lantern thinks of the iPad

Hey Green Lantern, do you want to buy an iPad? GL doesn’t want an iPad because it sucks. You could say GL feels rather strongly about this and would rather buy a laptop than a stupid, more expensive, bloated iPhone. And that’s why he’s a superhero, kids…

Good point Vinnie. Make a touchscreen netbook, and the Ipad would have some competition.

Maybe Green Lantern just likes to punch old 1 handed dudes?

Shannon: Touch screen tablet netbooks would be a way to go!

TJ: Could be, rumor is Hal Jordan is kind of a boozer...

Hey shannon how you doing?

A tablet that has a touchscreen that you can't use as a tablet pc (draw and stuff) means it sucks even as a tablet. It fails on more levels than I can count!

Chris, ok. Still a computer geek. Been a PC geek since 1984. Now for Vinnie, we will never know. Now if I can get Chris Pirillo to return my emails. ;D

chris: yep, you can't draw on the crippled tablet which is the primary function of a tablet.

Shannon: I was a TRS-80, Commodore, Texas Instruments, PC geek. As to getting Pirillo to return your emails, first start by letting him know that if he responds back, you won't kill his puppy. Always works for me.

Vinnie,

Had a TRS-80 and TI 99/4A before the IBM pc came along. Didn't have enough money for a commodore.

I used to take the train down to NYC to get sweet deals at places like 41st Photo for all my computer equipment, especially the popular Commodore stuff. Like a typical NYC shop, if you knew what you were doing they made you sweet, sweet deals so you kept coming back. If you didn't know what you were doing, well, that's how they could afford to give you sweet deals :>>

Man, I loved the haggling! (still do)
